Among all kinds of calligraphy, cursive calligraphy is the most abundant, with great vitality and rhythm. Its flexible and elegant lines and passionate momentum blend with each other, and its aesthetics has great imagination and visual impact, which can deeply reflect the rhythm of the mind and the catharsis of emotion in the conception and creation of calligraphy art. The characteristics and spirit of cursive art are very similar to the era trend of prominent personality and diversified development of Chinese contemporary calligraphy, and constitute an incomparably beautiful movement of Chinese calligraphy, which has become a new trend of the development of Chinese calligraphy era. 
Introduction to Xia Jianfeng： Born in Haian, Jiangsu Province in 1970. Graduated from the Department of fine arts of Nanjing Normal University, member of China Calligrapher Association and chairman of Hai'an Calligrapher Association. Calligraphy works were selected into the third and fourth national cursive calligraphy exhibition, the second national calligraphy exhibition and Wei Jin style exhibition held by the Chinese Calligrapher Association. His works won the cursive award of the fourth "Lin Sanzhi · Jiangsu calligraphy Biennale" in 2016. Xia Jianfeng's calligraphy works have won unanimous praise in the industry. Its style of writing is both elegant and romantic, which not only has the charm of elegance of Jin people, but also has the romantic feelings of Song people. He is faithful to his inner world, plays the piano and plays Han, and maintains the character of Jin people. He also integrated the meaning of the letters of the literati of the Republic of China into the charm of Jin and song, and gradually formed his own writing style of literati interest. More than 60 calligraphy works of Xia Jianfeng are exhibited in this exhibition. The exhibits are rich in forms, including album, fan, banner, vertical axis, sketch and scroll.
